Police seek information after deadly shooting in NW OKC

3/1/2017 - One man was killed and another was transported to the hospital after shoots were fired in a NW Oklahoma City neighborhood on Monday night.

The man killed has been identified as 29-year-old Tristan Brown.

Brown, a convicted felon, was most recently released from prison in October of last year and was currently under supervision.

Police responding to 911 calls regarding 'shots fired' discovered Brown's body in his front yard, late Monday night, on NW 105th Str., near Western Ave.

The second shooting victim was found a few minutes later, and identified him as Devon Hines, 22.

Hines had reportedly been shot once in the arm and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Hines too has a criminal record and is currently charged with second-degree burglary stemming from an arrest early last year.
