6/7/2017 - OKC, OK -- Oklahoma City police officer Kristi Cox Brewer has reportedly been arrested on misdemeanor domestic abuse in the presence of a child and domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Brewer, 28, was arrest around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.

According to police records, Brewer got into an argument with her husband around 11 p.m. The argument escalated into a physical confrontation. Brewer then allegedly struck her husband in the head with a curling iron.

Police report that both Brewer and hr husband sustained injuries - listing the husband's injuries as "significant."

During the fight, the couple's 4-year-old child was reportedly present.

Brewer has been been an Oklahoma City police officer of 3 1/2 years and is currently with the Springlake division.
